Profile roughening unit Maag RB

The profile roughening unit is a machine for roughening and cleaning the profiles with rotating brushes. By changing the rotating brushes, the machine can be used either for roughening or for cleaning. For roughening, the machine is used with roughening brushes before applying the adhesive to roughen the profile and ensure good adhesive adhesion. The suction sucks loose material out of the profile by means of negative pressure and thus ensures an optimal roughening result.

The roughening unit has:

• 3 natural fibre brushes with three-phase geared motors and suction units
• 2 cleaning brushes placed above, 1 cleaning brush placed below the profile
• the height of the brushes is individually adjustable by hand wheel
• Brushes with pneumatic quick lifting, in case of emergency stop or standstill of the machine
• transparent side door in the front allows excellent visibility into the decanter cabinet and easy and practical access
• double-sided processing possible
