Product description

Surface pretreatment and cleaning unit

The surface pre-treatment & cleaning unit ensures optimum pre-treatment and cleaning, extraction of the excess residual flock. The adjustability of the intensity of the suction can be adapted to the working requirements. In addition, the adjustment of beater shafts is possible, which enable a mechanical loosening of the flock. The integrated hinged door allows easy access for cleaning and emptying as well as maintenance of the extraction station. In addition, the suction station can be used as a double suction station to ensure a higher belt speed and to obtain an optimally cleaned product.

Maag Flock offers two different designs of pre-treatment & cleaning unit for surfaces:
open construction (cleaning by 2 suction beams)
closed construction (cleaning by throttled compressed air)

A conveyor belt transports the blanks through the cleaning process. Below the conveyor belt, 2 suction boxes are installed, which hold the blanks during the cleaning process by means of a low vacuum. To prevent the blanks from falling into the machine scraper, a driven roller is provided at the inlet and outlet of the conveyor belt. The cleaning device is connected to the suction device of the flocking machine.

The closed version consists of:
A stable, welded machine frame with 3 flock collection hoppers with connection to a powerful suction device. On the operator side an opening of the pre-cleaning is possible via a pneumatically operated hood. The cleaning process can be observed through a large Plexiglas opening in the cover hood. A dust-tight illumination is additionally installed in the cover hood.

The open variant consists of:
A stable, welded machine frame with connection to a powerful suction unit. 2 manually height-adjustable suction beams are installed transversely to the transport direction. The open design allows manual intervention and observation of the process.
