The adhesive coating is applied in an air-conditioned robot cabin. The molded part adhesive application unit consists, among other things, of a booth with a permanently extracted spray wall of the working width 2,000 mm and the secured handling area of the robot.
Moulding adhesive application unit
The adhesive coating is applied in an air-conditioned robot booth. A handling robot loads the conveyor belt of the automatic adhesive coating line and removes the coated objects. They are then transported to the conveyor belt of the automatic flocking line. - to achieve a uniformly dense flocking, an optimal adhesive coating is of utmost importance.
The moulding adhesive application unit consists of a booth with a permanently extracted spray wall of the working width 2,000 mm and the protected handling area of the robot. The transport of the workpieces is realized by a suitable conveyor system, which runs between the spray wall and the robot cabin. The infeed and outfeed openings are adapted to the maximum workpiece size.
The spray booth is made of a sectional steel construction and can be dismantled lengthwise for container freight. The spray wall is equipped with an exhaust fan and easily replaceable cassette filter in the spraying area of the robot.
A cleaning unit for interval-controlled cleaning of the spray nozzle is installed on the side next to the robot. The robot is mounted on a base frame and is accessible from the rear via maintenance doors. All cabin accesses are secured against unintentional opening.
The application booth is prepared for the installation of a fire extinguishing system. The actual fire extinguishing system is only required when using solvent adhesives or coating materials with an increased fire load, but is not included in this scope of services.
