The adhesive application unit consists of a spray booth, on the rear wall of which there is an extraction fan with a protruding filter cassette. Inside the booth the chain control for the workpiece transport is installed. The workpieces fixed on the holding devices are rotated when passing the spray nozzles. The rotation is carried out by a height-adjustable reversing belt, which drives the rotating holding devices. The workpieces run continuously past three spray guns, which are universally adjustable in three directions, and are coated with adhesive.
Adhesive application unit for rotationally symmetrical parts
The adhesive application unit consists of a spray booth installed on a solid sectional steel frame. On the rear wall of the booth there is an exhaust fan with protruding filter cassette, which is easily removable. Inside the cabin the chain control for the workpiece transport is installed. The workpieces fixed on the holding fixtures are rotated when passing the spray nozzles. The rotation is carried out by a height-adjustable reversing belt, which drives the rotating holding devices. The workpieces run continuously past three spray guns, which are universally adjustable in three directions, and are coated with adhesive.
The spray guns are connected to a pneumatic control cabinet equipped with all necessary lines for adhesive, spraying air and control air. For connection to the central compressed air supply (approx. 6 bar, oil-free), the pneumatic switch cabinet is equipped with a pressure regulator at the inlet as well as separate control lines for each spray nozzle with cut-in and cut-out and individual precise pressure adjustment.
The adhesive is supplied from pressure tanks with a volume of about ten liters. The spray gun is triggered by a light sensor installed in the coating booth. This signal only starts the spray gun if workpieces are present. Holding devices that do not carry workpieces are not coated with adhesive.
