Profile cleaning unit

The cleaning machine is used for precise roughening and cleaning of the profiles with rotating brushes. By changing the rotating brushes, the RB/AR machine can be used either for roughening or for cleaning. For optimal pre-treatment of the material before adhesive application, roughening brushes are used to roughen the profile and ensure good adhesive adhesion. For cleaning, the RB/AR is run through with cleaning brushes after flocking and drying. The suction sucks loose material out of the profile by means of negative pressure and thus ensures an optimum cleaning and roughening result.

The roughening unit has:

• 3 natural fibre brushes with three-phase geared motors and suction units
• 2 cleaning brushes placed above, 1 cleaning brush placed below the profile
• the height of the brushes is individually adjustable by hand wheel
• Brushes with pneumatic quick lifting, in case of emergency stop or standstill of the machine
• transparent side door in the front allows excellent visibility into the decanter cabinet and easy and practical access
• double-sided processing possible
