Profile cooling unit Maag KK

The KK cooling channel is used to cool the profile after drying. For this purpose, the profile passes through either a 3000 mm (KK 3000) or 6000 mm (KK 6000) long cooling channel. In this channel the profile is cooled by water and compressed air nozzles. Both the KK 3000 and the KK 6000 use a high-performance wet separator to remove water and dirt from the exhaust air. The high performance wet separator consists of a combined cyclone and water filter, including:

• 2 mm sheet steel, powder-coated housing
• bolted sections
• Centrifugal chamber including sludge tank, capacity 50 litres
• Integrated droplet separator for the exhaust air
• Radial fan
• Control unit for automatic water level regulation, capacity: 390 litres
• Drain hose for sludge

The filter is equipped with an efficient absorption channel. Water supply and drain connections are required to supply the filter, these are the responsibility of the customer.
