Product description

Moulding flocking machine

The moulding flocking machine is used for the automatic, electrostatic-pneumatic flocking of 2 identical or 2 different workpieces in one machine cycle and essentially consists of:

Flocking booth with 2 built-in, pneumatically movable workpiece holders. The actual workpiece-specific workpiece holders are easily exchangeable. The flocking machine is equipped with 2 flocking positions arranged one behind the other in order to be able to flock the 2 workpieces hanging next to each other from different positions.

The workpiece holders are pneumatically moved to the loading door of the flocking booth for loading, loaded with one or more workpieces and the start release is actuated. The workpieces are then moved to the first flocking position and the automatic flocking process is started.

In the first flocking station, the workpieces are moved over 2 flocking nozzles each, which are moved back and forth to the workpieces lengthwise by a linear unit. At the same time the nozzles can be moved up and down and additionally perform a pendulum movement. The travel paths and the speeds are set directly on the respective cylinders. The high voltage, the flock quantity and the blower strength are preselected on the display in the control cabinet door.

After the preset flocking time has elapsed, the workpieces are moved to flocking position 2. The flocking process in this station is the same as in

However, it is possible to use other flocking nozzles or a different nozzle positioning and with different values of the high voltage, the flocking quantity and the blower strength.

After the flocking process, the front door is opened pneumatically and the workpiece holder is moved to the feed/removal station. During this movement, the outer sides of the workpieces are cleaned of loose flock by compressed air cleaning nozzles.

The excess flock produced during the flocking process is collected at the bottom of the machine's hopper and transported to the extraction points by a trough screw. The excess flock and the cleaned flock are collected via the central flock extraction and returned to the flock circuit.
