Flock dryer for rotationally symmetrical parts

The flock dryer for rotationally symmetrical parts is a continuous dryer with a conveyor chain, incl. deflectors. The required drying time depends on the adhesive used. The dryer is assembled from plate elements, which are manufactured as double-walled sheet steel cassettes. The individual elements are made of electrolytically galvanized sheet steel. They are smooth on both sides and insulated with rock wool solid mats according to DIN 4102, 80 mm thick.

The hot air is heated by a direct gas firing and kept in circulation by a circulating air fan. The dryer temperature is continuously monitored via 2 temperature monitors and visualized and logged via PLC. The dryer cover can be easily opened and accessed for operation and cleaning via a side hinged door.
