The moulded part flock dryer is used for drying flocked moulded parts. It consists of plate elements which are manufactured as double-walled sheet steel cassettes.

The moulded part flock dryer consists of plate elements which are manufactured as double-walled sheet steel cassettes. The individual elements are made of electrolytically galvanized sheet steel. They are smooth on both sides and insulated with rock wool solid mats according to DIN 4102, 100 mm thick. A walk-in door (800 x 2000 mm) as well as the entry and exit openings for the workpieces and the conveyor chain are built into the dryer wall. Both side walls of the dryer are equipped with stabilizers to support the conveyor system. The dryer is heated by a modulating controlled gas air heater, heat output up to 80 kW and a circulating air high-performance radial fan with an air output of 12,000 m³/h, motor output 3.0 kW.
The dryer is designed for a maximum circulating air temperature of 90 °C. The supply air is blown in through air ducts with supply air grilles and adjustable fins. Extraction is through return air ducts with intake grilles.
In front of the burner pipe, two exhaust air connections with 125 mm diameter and 200 mm diameter are installed on the pressure side, with built-in regulating flaps for connection to on-site piping above the roof.
The temperature is controlled by a Pt 100 resistance thermometer and the electronic temperature controller installed in the control cabinet.
