The APG 1004 abrasion tester, as a special design, offers a time advantage for continuous tests. Here, up to four test specimens can be tested in parallel, whereby an optimization of the sequence is achieved for long test cycles.
Abrasion tester APG 1004
The special design of the APG offers a time advantage for continuous testing. Here, up to four DUTs can be tested in parallel, which optimizes the sequence for long test cycles.
The APG is basically used to assess the quality of flocked products. The speed as well as the number and length of strokes are individually adjustable. In addition, the APG 1004 is suitable for testing the abrasion resistance of leather and lacquered plastic surfaces.
The abrasion intensity of a specimen is determined by an abrasion test. The abrasion is caused by the pressure of the test bit and the lateral movement on the specimen. For this purpose, the specimen to be tested is fixed on the lifting carriage and the test bit is pressed onto the specimen by a defined differential weight.
Maag Flock offers a wide range of test bits, from standard test bits to standardised and individual special test bits.
With special additional devices the abrasion tests can be carried out according to their specification, accordingly the abrasion tester APG 1004 must be converted. The following tests are already integrated in the additional devices:
