What is flock?

Flock fibres are fibres with a length of approx. 0.1 to 10 mm.

Any raw material, e.g. polyamide, viscose, wood, metal, compostable biomaterials, recycled materials or polyester can be used as a starting point for the flock. These raw materials are cut by machine in the first step of processing. After the fibres have been cut, they are prepared to achieve the conductivity and flowability of the flock and at the end of the production process the fibres are dried and sieved.

Thus Flock can be adapted extremely individually to the respective need and the associated problem.
